are pigeons deaf ? somebody told me that they can't listen

No, as birds, they have decent hearing, but they reley on their eyes more. Since they live in the city, they've learned to drown out all the ambient noise. That's why they don't quickly repond to car noises. Plus, they really aren't that smart. Out of all the birds, they have to rank as one of the dumbest species.

Probably they are a bit dumb... but surey not deaf... try to go near a group of pigeon and loudly clap your hands :) they'll all fly away in fear... oh! Beware! They might even "bomb" you!
