The Carolinas?

I have a question about the Carolinas is it consider the Mid Atlantic or the South well personally I consider it the old south?

South , lived in Charlotte n.c for 22 yrs, south Carolina is more southern and as you go down, Georgia is really southern, Florida.. well that is like San Fran, as in a wide mix. deep south though is definitely Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee. these are your hard core red necks.
