how can i format drive c and download windows on it?

is it possible to format drive c without affecting any other partition?then i need to download a fresh copy of windows XPi think ill have to do that by dos no problem.

First download Windows XP ISO, then burn it to a CD. Then boot your computer using the CD(Make sure it is a bootable CD). You will find the option for formatting your drive C when you boot from the CD. Your other partitions will not be affected if you only format the drive C.
