Why not ask someone else your age and one that goes to your school???If this 18 year old does anything with you it will get him in trouble...Is that what you want??? Leave him be and move on....

Hugs. At 14 (yea, you're gonna growl at me, lol) you should not be dating 18 year old boys. As stated before, you can't make someone like you and you can't make someone take you to a dance but if you're in tears and putting any sense of pressure on the guy that he's just got to be yours.... it won't happen. Males of all ages (and plenty of girls too) break world records for running when that kind of pressure is sensed.
I'm telling you, it won't be the end and you won't die if you happen to go to the winter formal with someone else. You're also putting an awful lot of undue pressure on yourself. Just think, if you keep thinking it has to be him that goes with you and he doesn't.... are you going to have a good time, will you go at all? Ease up on yourself so you can enjoy the event.
I do hope you'll go and have a memorable, great time!

So you are a Freshman and he's a senior. What do you think the senior wants more than anything on winter formal night? You guessed it, sex. What does the law do to a man over 18 when he has sex with a minor? Jail time.

you can't make a guy like you and if he's 18, he's an adult and it's a little weird if he's with a 14 year old. I'm sorry, but don't get too attached to him. The age difference is a little weird and 18 year olds, especially guys, are going to feel weird with a 14 year old when they are seen with their friends- I had this experience with a guy- he thought I was too young for him. I recommend you being friends with him, but cool it down a little and don't get too attached- seek guys your own age who aren't adults yet. I'm sorry to put it that way

A winter formal with a bunch of 14 year olds probably isnt going to be his place of choice. but if he cares for you, it wont matter. Ask him to go with you as a friend

well, if he doesn't know, then he doesn't know. it's just winter formal, not that big of a deal. if he can't go, go with your friends and lator on, go on a date or something to make up for lost time. what matters here is that you get to spend time with the one you like, not about outside appearances or events. there are plenty of dances to go to in the future, so chill

You should not have to make him like you. Either he likes you, or he doesn't. It is just that simple. To make him your date, you just have to ask him. Remember, there will always be other guys, and someone somewhere may suit you better. Be happy always! Guys usually like cheerful girls more than tearful ones.

Have you told him how you honestly feel? you can but do that, but you can not make him like you or take you on a date if he is not into you. Tell him how you feel - if you havent done so - and if you have and you didnt get a positive reaction you will have to let him go... GOOD LUCK!
