i heard that if you wear ur hair up all the time(like i do on a daily basis and have for 2-3 years now) that it causes hair loss. Im also worried about that fact that i pull it back so tightly.

is there any truth to this?

i've noticed more hair falling out, more so than if you regularly pull it back

It does !! specially around the face !! i stopped doing it n my hair has go so much better.. if u r wearing ur hair up dont use hair bands. jst make it loose with a clip pr sumthing like tht, or tie it really loosely, if u cant leave it down.
i never thought i would leave my hair open but u get used to it !!

Wearing your hair a certain way wont cause it fall out but the method you use might. If you are putting something around your hair very tight, then that will damage your hair and cause hair breakage. You may also be pulling hairs out when pulling it so hard to style it. If your going to pull your hair back or up, use products that will enable you to keep it up while it being a little more loose.

If you have youre hair back really tight in a ponytail or something it can cause your hairline to recess after a while. I would recommend not pulling it back so tight.

Not unless you pull it too tight. Been wearing my hair up for 60 years and I am not bald yet.

well the tension of your hair being up will sometimes cause hair it depends on how tight you have your hair up and hair gel sometimes makes your hair to brittle and it will fall out

no it doesn't...chemicals...and genetics are a key factor to hair loss not pulling it back into a pony tail
