Its heresy.
Gnostic's stated John had to come back since he didn't understand God. Catholic church is in some sort of research about removing it.
Was it needed? Was John influenced by evil or torment in his writings? Should the future be seen before it happens? Free-will?
What if the Antichrist doesn't want to be evil? Free-will?
I see something very occultic and relative to a phoenix in revelations. Maybe I am blind and have wishful thinking or maybe time will only tell to see if this book which has had some of the greatest emphasis will be eliminated..

The entire purpose of Revelation was to encourage persecuted Christians to persevere in their faith and to reassure them that God would take care of them. The apocalyptic language was based on a popular prophetic style of the time, allowing ambiguous interpretations of each symbol and action. Its purpose in scripture is to inspire similar reassurance for Christians during the ordeals of their own times. But the world is always "ending" for them, as they should always be "dying" to the world. To look at Revelation as a checklist for the physical destruction of the Earth is ridiculous. The language can't be symbolic and real at the same time.

If you read the Bible and understand it then you know it does not say that the world is going to end. Time as we know it will end yes, but life and the world will still exsist, the earth will be renewed. We will have eternal life in our spiritual bodies.

I believe that the world as we know it will one day end. But, I doubt it will be an 'end of all things' kind of situation. In my opinion, God leans towards the infinite, not the finite. I believe there is always something more and human destiny is not limited to a span of a few millennia.

It doesn't matter to me because it's religious bunk. The end of the world part is probably part right,we will definitely cause a great deal of destruction eventually, but that conclusion didn't require a vision from God,all they had to do was look at humanity to figure that one out.

Yes, everything earthly ends. The Bible has prophesied and they have all been correct.
Read Daniel, then Revelation with an open mind and get very well acquainted with the global horrors that are escalating as said in Revelation.
Pray with an open heart that God will re-veil to you the truth to stand against our enemies.
God bless you

all things with beginnings must have ends. but sometimes the end of something is just a new beginning for something else. and that's what the book of revelation is all about!

The 'end' that we often talk about is the second coming of jesus christ when he will come to earth to reign for a thousand years with his righteous saints. But this is far from the end...for after this satan will be let loose for a season and then the end will come when we will al be judged according to our works and receive a degree of glory.

All things come to an end. The sun will eventually exhaust its fuel.
Revelation was the writings of an upset person who was exiled from Rome. Nero is the beast.
