Run cold water over the burned area 1st.
There is a prescription cream
called Silvadene...if you happen to have some in your medicine chest then apply to the burn. Do not rub it in just tap it on....No Silvadene?? Then use Neosporin Ointment. Just tap it on, do no rub in. and cover lightly with a non stick gauze pad.....to allow the air to still get in and around the wound.
hope this helps!!!!!!

Don't use alcohol. The first thing you should do is use running cold water, as fast as you can. Let it run for a while, and if its not a bad burn that should almost completely get rid of it. Then maybe a bandage and some cream. A worse burn you may want to have a bag/towel with ice in it sitting on it after the water. But always start with the running water.

cold water is better than ice, don't put ice directly on it, put it in a plastic baggie. Alcohol will burn it. wash it, apply antibiotic cream and wrap it, gauze will stick to it, find a non-stick pad to put over it. If it's a 2nd or 3rd degree burn you can get burn gel pads, they're water based to keep it slightly moist.
Depending on how severe the burn is you may need a silverdyne cream, I think that's prescription

run the area under cold water. If you use ice, dont put it directly on the burn, wrap ice in a towel first. silvadene cream is good. Do not use alcohol, that will irritate the skin more

yes it is, but first before you put the ice on put on some neospirin and then the ice. I am not sure about the alcohol, I know that would really hurt on a burn.

alcohol will dry your skin more cause alcohol uses the temperature of the skin. ice is very good but if its very painful you can put some toothpaste on it to calm it then you Can go to drug store and but something for burning or just by aloe Vera. but tooth paste helps a lot.

IT DEPENDS ON WHAT DEGREE THE BURN IS. YOU SHOULD CLEANSE IT WITH A PEROXIDE FIRST AND THEN APPLY A ANTIBIOTIC OINTMENT ON THE BURN AND THEN A THIN LAYER OF GAUZE TO SOOTHE THE BURN YOU COULD PUT SOME ICE WRAPPED IN A PLASTIC BAGGY OVER THE BURN , BUT DON'T FORGET IT DEPENDS ON THE DEGREE OF THE BURN.

Don't put the ice directly on it -- you will risk frostbite to the already burned tissue.
