Hi..! i just was browsin and happen to see your question. I've once studied Melayu language for years. There is an old habbit of the people using it where anything dark or black that's sweet or cute is called Hitam Manis (dark / black and cute / sweet). But in this case, i think it'll be a little too long to have 2 names for your puppy, so why don't u abbreviate it? 'HITMAN' for HITam MAnis. Hope u like it :-)

Please let us know what u decide....thanks

I think you should live with her for a while, and pretty soon I'm sure she will let you know enough about her personality that a spacific name will just stick to her.
I honestly like really old fashioned names for delicate dogs.
like Pearl, Rose, Ethel, Ester, Lucial, Emilia (this is my favorite!) Gladdice, Jean, Lillian...they have a more classic and delicate nature to them. :)
Good luck with your net puppy! post what you picked! :)

I let my 4 and 5 year old name our puppy... that'll always get you something 'original', ha ha. My 4 yr old wanted to name her "glittery" and my 5 year old wanted to name her after her favorite teacher at school (Mrs. Johnson)... so, we settled on "Mrs. Glittery Johnson", however we just call her Sadie for short, ha ha.

you could go with something kooky... like Princess Raven Lemon Pretzel or Moochie McFluffy Doodle. or something cute like Tater or Bella...

A few ideas off the top of my head....

names that play off her color....

'ebony' and 'sable' are both synonyms for black, 'c.c.', short for charcoal and also has that prissy edge poodles seem to need.

names that play off her size....

'mini', or 'teensy'.
