How to run games without Cd like max pyne?

use "Alcohol 120%" it's a virtual cd/dvd drive. you can mount your game and play withouth the cd

The second answerer here is correct. You can't just mount the CD and play away, you need to crack the game so either:

a) you can play without a CD entirely
b) you can play with a burned copy of the game CD, but your game doesn't check for the protection that would be present on an actual CD

You'll need to download a No-CD patch/crack for whatever game you have. Since you're using this to only play games that you legally own and are making a backup of, you can use gamecopyworld.com for some resources.

First you need to make an image of the CD. The game publisher requires the CD so it knows you bought it. You can probably rip it to a cd image with any CD burning SW like Nero or Roxio Easy CD (whatever came with your burner). I prefer Nero. PowerISO is the best Virtual CD program I have used to date. Not a format it won't do. I believe it is Shareware so you can try it free or find it on a bitTorrent site like www.isohunt.com and use uTorrent (www.utorrent.com) to "try it out"

I use it for CD images I download or rip so I don't have to burn them just to install Software. It will mount everything from iso images to daa images to DVD images. I love it and it was one of the few that I felt obligated to pay for a legit version.

Click the download menu item and you can try it for mounting images but cannot create or edit any larger than 300MB without paying. If you want to try a full version before you pay see my comments after the link.

BTW uTorrent is free and fast (www.slyck.com ranks it as one of the best Torrent clients available) and isohunt.com is one of my favorite index sites for the torrent peer 2 peer platform. You will find you can get other great downloads that way as well. Torrents are the fastest P to P in my opinion for downloads.

You need to use a NoCD patch. There are many sites from where you can get these patches. And sometimes some people include trojans with these patches. Make sure that you have a good antivirus before you download. Also, always read the .nfo files before runnning any .exe files. Also, you should use Mozilla Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com) to view these sites as some of them contain exploits.
