Lunch....the only sandwich i know can be a dessert is ice-cream sandwich

I am 45 years old and a school teacher all my life I have eaten peanut butter and jelly snadwiches for lunch. And it is the most common sandwich at the cold lunch tables at lunch time.

I think that in the US Peanut Butter and Jelly is most known typically as lunch. I have never heard of it being referred to as a dessert.

The popular PB and J sandwich in the US makes a nutritious lunch, and has been known to be eaten as a snack.

You can have a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich whenever you want to have a Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich.
You want it for lunch, fine.
You want it for dinner, no problem.
You want it for a midnight snack, go ahead.
You want it for breakfast, have two, remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. ;o)
