does braces make you face smaller? just wondering. people say they do. but im not sure

No, they only move your teeth in. This can make your mouth look smaller when your lips are closed, but they won't shrink your face...

the only way braces can change your facial apperance, is if you had an over bite or under bite that was extrememly noticable, after your braces are off your teeth will be fixed so your face might change. otherwise, braces cant make your face smaller.

Since I have never worn braces in my life, I cannot say.
But what I have seen in my cousins is that since they can barely chew food, they eat less, because of some pain.
But if what people are saying about your face becoming smaller due to braces, then I will go ahead and have them applyed on me too.
