I'm seeing and hearing demons that no one else can see or hear. I'm at a point where I don't know if it's in my head or if its really demons. I'm also suicidal.

It all depends on whether the mental health facility is part of a larger hospital, or is an independent (i.e.- expensive) facility. Go to the emergency room of a hospital with a mental health unit, and tell the check in nurse that you are having a mental health crisis and want to be admitted. I have been hospitalized in both types of facilities, and I was admitted thru the ER at the general hospital, and directly into the private hospital. The psychiatrist on call can write the order to admit when you get there.
Go thru all the therapy programs the hospital offers whether you want to or not, and you will be much more able to cope with reality again when you get out.
Good luck, and I hope you get better and find some inner peace.

Can you go to an emergency room at a hospital that has a psychiatric ward? Or try checking the yellow pages in your area for Emergency Mental Health Clinics. They usually have a 24 hour crisis line and can get you the help you need. If you feel your life's in danger right now, call 9-1-1.

Angela M. Has the right idea for you. If you need help ASAP, go to your local emergency room. From there they can assess you, and if need be, hold you for 72 hours. That's provided they have psychiatric facilities, and what type, if any, insurance you have. A county Mental Health assessment team, will come to you, evaluate you at home, and if necessary, take you to a County facility. These are known for being a bit more like a lock-down unit in a jail-like setting. Most regular hospitals' psychiatric facilities are voluntary, I have been in both, try the Emergency room first.

Just go to a hospital ASAP. It an be a regular hospital or psych hospital. It doesn't matter. You'll get to see a psychiatrist either way.
Good Luck

You could just go to your local hospital and explain your situation and depending on your needs you will be transferred to the appropriate care for you.

well, you can check yourself into a hosptial, or what would drive away demons, like asking Father God and Jesus into your heart to fill the void where they have manifested themselves to live? You might go to the hospital...and they will help you with some medicine, but if you truly believe that they are demons and they just might be...then pray for their release...God Bless you and my prayers are with you also but remember you have to accept Jesus or it isn't any good

either way will work
consider the decision carefully
sometimes a psych doc can get you some meds to prevent that, if you aren't REALLY loosing it, I would recomend that.
and or call a close friend or realative. Preferably somebody who has been through it already, as a patient.

You will need a doctor to sign the order for you to be treated at the hospital.
