I think you have that backwards..If only 6% of the country goes to a church ect.. every week, then say 94% or so are not religious and we therefore do seem to be going to "Heck" lol in some kind of a basket.

Oh yes it does suggest something. It suggest that we do not need "religion" What we need is a relationship with God.
One has only to look at what Jesus said to and about the Pharisee's. These were the "religious leaders in His time. They thought they were Jehovah's organization on Earth but Jesus said they were of their father the devil.
