During World War II, children were given cod liver oil to supplement their meager diets. However, according to Anna Denny, a nutrition scientist with the British Nutrition Foundation, it is much better for children to get Omega-3 oils from eating fish. This is because cod liver oil contains too much Vitamin A and D for a child's needs and high doses can be toxic.

cod livre oil is very healthy for you , yes they can actualy i know i have given my son the liquid form , he liked it i gagged with the taste though
