Check here a very effective sciatica natural treatment http://cure-sciatica.info
Normally, I would not answer a question like this as my expertise is generally in medication but I had severe sciatica while I was pregnant with my 3rd child (after having had twins) and I had sciatica so bad that I was finding it difficult to walk. I tried massage therapy and physical therapy and could not take medication
I went to the chiropractor and the pain was instantly relieved. My hips and lower back were out of alignment because I had carried twins the year before. On occasion a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) can also work but they usually only work on one joint at a time - the chiropractor will do your whole back which works faster. Anyone who does not believe in chiropractors will tell you they are quacks - don't listen.
I don't necessarily believe that chiropractors can cure things like diabetes but they can definitely relieve some types of back pain especially if a pinched nerve is involved which is usually the cause of sciatica.

So..
It is a fact that no one condition reflects sciatica and it would be prudent to refer to it as a generic medical term encompassing lots of symptoms that taken together describe a lower back pain that a patient suffers from. When someone complains of severe back pain that passes down to legs through his buttocks, even down to his feet and toes, doctors suspect him to be suffering from sciatica. Often sciatica presents itself as numbness or a tingling sensation that may not be anything like the severe pain commonly associated with sciatica. This tingling or numbness may be felt by the person when he engages in some activities.
On this site you can find very good tips on how to treat your sciatica: http://curesciatica.toptips.org

I just got over the same thing about 2 weeks ago and I had it for about 3 weeks and also in severe pain. I understand about the doctors, I finally went to a choirpractor, trust me when I say it was cheaper for me other than going to a specialist who could not see me for 2 weeks longer. But you are right about the Lord, however, you have got to help yourself first, too! I prayed as well, but I still ended up going to the choirpractor, that's why the Lord gave them the job.

sciatica is due to inflammation, the best therapy you can do at home is ice. Apply an icepack to your lower back for twenty minutes in any given hour as often as you can, this helps to decrease inflammation and the ice will also do some numbing to relieve pain.

If you know the lord can heal you then ask people for a quicker way or their way to get you healed; that not gods way. why grow weary instead let the power of the lord take place.remember it states in the bible there is a season for every thing.A season of harvest and a season of suffering. You see faith without works is dead if you want to be healed keep praying even thou you can`t see.It states blessed are those who believe without seeing.Faith is without seeing and hope.If you see it then it wouldnt be faith nor hope. Therefore just because you cant see a recovery be persistent and stop finding mans way to get healed quickly but gods way.It is not our time things get done but gods time did you know that? Many people think if they ask something for god it will happen over night ,no, it doesnt always work that way.You want to heal i suggest you stop complaining and keep praying and stop seeking man advive about it cause they aint go get you healed god can.How he going to heal you if you doubt him and cant trust him.

"He helps those who help themselves"....
In other words, quit whining and do something about it.
Prayer does not work unless you are really really good at it.
Nobody is that good, and it is usually just the power of the mind overcoming temporarily the pain you feel.
