hi, if i am an immigrant in the united states where can i get immediate shelter, i have relatives there but i dont think they would appreciate it if i come to stay ith them i am looking forward to stay in new jersey or new york thank you.

It depends on your budget, and the stint of your stay.

If it's just for a trip, you can find information online, or in travel books like Lonely Planet. If you know people there maybe you could ask them.

If your planning to reside there maybe you could find some possible places online, and ask your family to help you them check out. If that's not possible it might e a good idea to ask a real-estate agent.

My answer would be different if you came to this country legally or illegally. If illegal, you are not an immigrant you are a trespasser. Please ask again and be more specific.
