NO! People who are 21 or 31 or 41 or 51,61, or 71 don't drink responsibly why would an 18 year old be any different and probably worse because they don't make so many good decisions when they're not drinking. Please don't drink.

Absolutely yes! I think it's very unfair to be an adult for some things like voting, going to jail if you commit a crime, driving, getting married... but not for others like drinking, being able to buy a house or a car and in some states going to the doctor by yourself (lol) because you have to wait until you're 21. If you're an adult, be an adult for everything, not only for what is best for the government and the over protecting parents. Besides, it's no secret that thousands of 18 year olds drink.

Passing the drinking age to 18 has nothing to do with accidents. Only morons would drive and drink at the same time.

Yes. People say that 18 year olds are not very mature, but what is a 3-year difference gonna do? Technically, when you turn 18 you become an adult, you can vote, join the army, etc. A 3 year difference isn't really much. And more accidents? There are 15-18 year olds drinking at parties, driving, etc. And we know they drink anyway so with the drinking age, they just do everything secretly. Most people who turn 18 go to college, so they are beginning that journey of adulthood. And most people who are 21 are still in college. There are college parties. There is alcohol at these parties. Drinking in college is inevitable (unless people are strongly against it). So yes, lower that drinking age!

The key to responsible drinking is education not legislation. No amount of legislation will stop people drinking at whatever age they want to start (remember the disaster that was prohibition in the US).
If a person can vote, join the armed forces, die for queen (or president) and country, marry and have kids, drive a car; why can't they drink alcohol at that age. Better to stop them smoking before they are 92 years.

I agreed when the drinking age was 19, I personally think 21 is a bit silly. An 18 and 19 year old can vote, buy lottery tickets, porn and go into military service, but can't drink? Silly. Oh, I'm a 50 year old.

thats what it used to be until the 70s when tons of young college kids died from alcohol poisoning or drunk driving related deaths. then Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) and it was increased by 3 years to 21. I would say it doesnt matter because kids today are not the same as kids in the 70s. There will never be enough people who want to decrease the legal age to drink alcohol for a bill to pass nationally.

Each individual reacts in a different way and maintains to react in a different way at extraordinary elements of their lives. Pray and exhibit love used to be all someone might do for me. I treated it as I needed to, while I needed to. It can be a lifestyles lengthy procedure. I might advise simply be there in the event that they want to speak. Leave them on my own approximately it if they do not. And realize it's going to arise and leave and arise once more. My condolences.
