As the other have said...he needs his own litter box and it has to be cleaned everyday...with detergent...to eliminate any smell...

Cats are very clean...sometimes cleaner than ourselves...and will not tolerate anything dirty.

Besides that...if your cat goes back to pee in a certain spot...spray coarse black pepper in that spot...and he won't go back there.
You also need to eliminate the smell from his previous pee. There are some products on the market to neutralise those smell.

Last year my beautiful Manx cat Theodore went out for the evening and never came back. I love cats and the house didn't feel the same without one, so I picked up Lola from a rescue centre. She was very frightened and would pee all over the house. I found Cat Spraying No More on the internet and the techniques worked almost immediately. I haven't had a problem with Lola since. Amazing!

Can't stop your cat peeing in the house? Then worry no more...

Cats will often urinate in inappropriate places as a way of letting you know that they have a urinary tract infection, so first, have your vet check him. Many cats will not use a litter box that is not pristine, with 3 cats you should probably have 4 litter boxes. Or maybe another cat is sick, and your cat doesn't want to use the litter box after the sick one has. You really need to find out which cat is creating the problem, maybe all but one could be confined in a paprticular room , rotating cats periodically, until you know who is doing it.

I know that one thing to do is make sure your litter box is clean. I clean mine out once or twice a day sometimes. I have a cat that will pee outside the box if I don't keep it really clean! Good luck!

No you are not. our cats do it all the time. finally we found out when it ate, and when it had to go. that gave us a sence for what to do. (don't know what you might do, but maybe put it in a closet with a huge litterbox on the floor.) maybe your cat is under stress and needs something, i'm no expert, but you could ask a vet...
