Should I take Human Growth Hormone (HGH)?

I am almost 16 years old and 62 inches (5'2") tall. I want to be atleast 4 more inches taller. Should I take the HGH? I talked to my gym teacher and she pointed out that after puberty, the plates in my bones might be fused together and there might be no effect of the HGH. I am confused.
