I really like a guy but he just got out of a very serious long term relationship 2-3 months ago.
He was with the girl for 2 years.
Ive heard his backstory and she hurt him but he says he hates to be alone and wants to move on and into another real relationship.
He's 30 and says he wants to find someone seirous to settle down with asap.
I think he's still hurt and its too soon for him to move on.
I think right now any girl will just end up a rebound to him.
Im thinking to pass on being very serious with him right now, instead be his friend and then date them him after he's gone thru a rebound or two and his head is clearer and he's gotten over pain form his ex girlfriend hurting him.
Agree or disagree ?

Girl this is not true!
I would take the relationship slow, and not rush into things however, rebound relationship don't always end.
For example look at (Brad Pitt, and Angelina Jolie) he was having problems, and commitment issues with Jennifer Aniston, and he divorced her and moved on.
If you really like this guy feel him out, ask questions. If there are time that he appears that he is not with you; give him space so he can make up his mind.
You know they say "good things come to those who wait."
Do not place your entire heart into this man.
I know that this can be hard to do but, if you want to know if you are the victor. DO not seem to eager to accept all of the mind games that come with ex-girlfriend "Drama."

Make sure that you set boundaries for you, and this man,

You could lose out on something "great" due to fear.

Be a WINNER!

Girl everyone has baggage. Even those people who have been single forever.

I THINK THAT YOU ARE RIGHT, HE NEED TIME TO DEAL
WITH WHAT WAS GOING ON IN HIS LIFE. OTHER WISE
THE RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT SURVIVE.
