She might be getting old. Or, it might be that something about her house bothers her and she's pooping where she shouldn't, which is her way of telling you she doesn't like something.
When we moved, my dogs bolted for the door every time I stood up for about three weeks. Eventually they calmed down.
Moving can be just as hard on dogs as it is on people.

It can be common for toilet trained dogs to have accidents when the family move home, what you're doing is moving territory and this can be quite upsetting for the dog.

You need to ensure that yoou take the dog out very regularly to the garden and then praise the dog when it goes to the toilet outside.

If the dog has an accident inside you really must use a specific pet spray which gets rid of the smell dogs can smell but you can't that indicate to the dog where to go to the toilet.

The way your dog is reacting when someone else sees the accident is simply the dog reacting to your body language, scent, facial expressions & tone of voice. It'll probably be hard for you to believe but your dog doesn't know what it did wrong at this moment, it just knows you're upset.

Key rule.....do NOT punish a dog or say or so anything if you didn't catch the dog in the act as you'll just make the problem much worse.

It could be that she's getting old. It could be that a previous animal (that lived in the house before you) had marked that spot before and your dog is covering it up.
You guys aren't punishing her when she does this...right? She has no idea that she's done it, so rubbing her nose in it or spanking and screaming at her will not help and will only make matters worse.
Just make sure that she gets to go outside on a schedule. If it persists, then take your dog to the vet as there could be a medical cause for the pooping.

My older sister is having almost the same problem.
She has a yorkshire terrier and is 4 years old...maybe more or less and she used to pee and poop on the same spot of the house where we used to add newspapers on the floor (she never liked to do her business on the grass). My sister bought a house 6 months ago and she moved in with her dog...her dog now poops and pee everywhere!!!...she doesn't do it on the newspapers anymore...we don't know if she is doing this because she doesn't like where she is now or because she doesn't know where to do it.

Your dog is probably doing this because she is in a new place and doesn't know where she has to go. You need to teach her where she has to do her business like you did when she was a puppy.
good luck!...at least she is doing it in one spot...my sister's dog is doing it everywhere! X__X

well I've heard of dogs pooping on the floor when they move to different surroundings. there might have been another dog in the house before your dog and probably marked his territory. in other words, your dog might feel threatened because he thinks he's in another dog's territory.

I'm embarrassed to admit....

That I even once got to the stage where at times I wanted to "lock" up my dogs when visitors came around.

Because I was so worried one of my darling doggies would jump on a guest or pee in front of everyone with excitement.

To make matters worse, my oldest dog, once used to race down the street the minute the front door was opened. But of course that has all changed now.

Because he can smell where he went last time. You need to clean the area with an enzymatic cleaner to get rid of the smell.

She's crouching down and running to her cage because she knows you are angry at her. She doesn't know why.
