I actually think it might give them enough of a complex TO quit, well some of them anyway. They will probably be pissed about it at first, but then they will dig deep into thought like most women do, and analyze what you said and why you said it and then be paranoid about, and maybe quit! LOL Who knows, it might help some!

You mean 'to YOU', women smokers look ugly. You could try using a slightly less agressive word like ugly, and use, say, unattractive. You could tell them, smoking will age their skin, and dry it out. Of course, this is, if the women smokers care what you think anyway. I know I wouldn't care. (I smoke)

Look into Teens that have been smokeing for over 5 years.

They some times look like they are in the 70's.

I went to school with some that looked older then my mother and grandmother.

My mom never believed me but she is noticeing it now.

Show them a comparisen of someone at one age who has (almost) never smoked and a smoker.

I think if people would just stop and look at this and be aware of it it will help.

Not that anything ANYTHING you do AT ALL will get them to stop smokeing. They don't even have a choice once they start >.<

Of course not. I used to smoke , there was one business I had to go into occas. The clerk, he must have been the owner, would yell across the room. "good lord but you do stink" I was always with another person, also a smoker he meant both of us, and no it did not make us quit. I quit 35 years later. You will only make an enemy.

Every smoker knows the risks. Nothing anyone says will make them quit. If they are ready to quit they will seek help or ask for it. Until then it's no-one's buisness and insulting smokers will just get their backs up not help them :0)

no, beacues it doesn't always happen that way. I've seen some hot *** older smokers.

Sure, smoking causes skin and the rest of the body to age faster but if you think they haven't heard that over and over and over agin, you're misataken. What's next, you're going to go out there and start telling all the chics who wear thongs to the beach that the sun damages the skin? They know this, but they choose vanity and vices now over a longer life.

If you're smart, you'll keep your mouth shut. ALL smokers know what they're doing and they won't appreciate your unsolicited comments. And why did you leave out men smokers????

Only if they ask your opinion first... I don't think this will make you any friends. Kinda like trying to save a non-believer's soul. Ech has his or her own attitude, and no amount of insults will convert anyone.

yes you should. It is a compliment and good advice and they won't be offended cause you complimented them first! And if you tell them that they might believe you and stop - do what you can to help others! ;)
