I have 3 cats Teddy, Chet and Moomoo's. For some odd reson i started to call Teddy (Teddy McFreddy/Freddy Teddy orTeddy Ruxpin/Ruxpin Kitty)
and Chet i call from time to time (Chetwick or Ludwig/Luggie).
Moomoo's is just Moo's, she has no nick name.
So does your cat/dog have a whole lot of silly nick name's too?

We have a cat named Spatz, who we call Spatz-arooni, or just Rooni.
A cat named Tigger, we call Tiggy-boy or Tigger-Bigger or Bigger.
A can named Lariat we sometimes call Larry-Barry, or just Barry.
A dog named Winston we sometimes call Winnie-Win.

Silly, I know, but it happens.

My oldest dogs's call is Blitz. We call him Blitzen, or sometimes Bubby. My puppy's call is Damien, yet suitable now he would not have a nickname, in simple terms a center call NO. As in Damien No! perhaps he gets a nickname whilst he gets older and extra useful behaved. lol.
