how can i get my start menu button and my quick launch bar to come back and stay?

drag it to where u want it then right click on the bar and select lock the task bar... this should make it stay.. i hope this helps..

On task bar right click select Tool bar then choose quick launch and what you want

Right click on it (when it reappears) and change the settings!

Go to Properties, uncheck "auto-hide the taskbar."
