I was going to my friends house where it was LOUD so I needed ear plugs. But I there were none so I used kleenexes instead. A small peice of kleenex tissue went inside my ear and now I can't get it out, I can still feel it in my ear and its blocking my hearing. Please help!

Also, don't tell me to go to the doctor, I dont want to pay 300 dollars to get a peice of tissue removed

No I can't see it, I can stick about 1/4 of an ear bud in there and feel it, I tried to scoop it out with an ear bud but it hurts when I try :( And I seriously cant afford the doctor, my income is very low and I avoid doctors at all cost.

Borrow a girl friends hair tweezors, the tiny type, ask her for the one she uses to pluck her eyebrows. ask a friend to put a flashlight in your ear and pick it out with the tweezors.

Would you pay 300 dollars to not be deaf?
I would probably try flushing my ear out with water hoping that the kleenex would disintegrate, or at least soften enough to come out. Don't shove anything inside your ear! The most I would do would be to have a friend use a pair of tweezers ONLY if the tissue is visible and easy to reach.

Doctors have the right equipment. I don't think it's worth a trip to the emergency room, but I would find a doctors office that will take a cash patient first thing in the morning. (I've done this and it only ended up costing me around 100 bucks, much cheaper than the e.r. and you don't have to spend 9 hours waiting.)

Invest in some ear plugs to keep in the car. I carry some in my purse at all times, can't tell you how often they've come in handy.

Go and get a small bulb syringe from the drug store and fill it with warm water and GENTLY flush your ear out. I would lean over a sink or bowl, affected ear down, and slowly and gently squeeze the water into the ear and see if that flushes the Kleenex out. Don't dig around in your ear canal anymore, you could damage your ear. You may have to do the warm water treatment several times until it flushes the paper out. Just please, do it carefully and gently.

Do not use Q-tips..that will push it in farther. Get someone with a steady hand and good eyesight to take it out with tweezers. (use a flashlight) First look on the computer for ear anatomy...so you know where the eardrum is. No poking or prodding. If they can see the tissue they should be able to grab on to it with tweezers. Just dont dig for it. Really....if you value your hearing a Dr. would be the best thing. Just think of what it will cost if you get a hole poked in your eardrum.

Well I don't want to tell you you don't have to go to the doctor but check this out. My brother when he was little had a bug crawl in his ear and could feel it moving around. He had to go to the doctor and he used a special tool to pull it out it was still alive. Now imagine what would've happened if that bug had died in his ear and rotted much damage caused so I suggest you get that out by a doctor you don't wanna cause yourself any harm because if you try to get it out yourself you may push it further down the ear canal.....not good.

try using peroxide, warm it to Luke warm, don't warm it too much you don't wanna scauld your ear drum. Then really gently use a eye dropper to drip a few drops of the peroxide into your ear, let it set for a few minutes till you feel the object float to the surface. then warm some water again not too warm , and drip a few drops of water in the same ear to rinse the peroxide out of your ear along with the object stuck in there.

I suggest you go to the ER. I know you do not want to pay the necessary fees but that would be best. Can any of your friends see it by looking in your ear?

Whenever my children or husband have gotten something stuck in their ear, we got it out w/a needle and some super glue on the end of it. You have to have someone help you with it though, so they can see into the ear and not poke you or go too deep. However, if it IS too deep, you will HAVE to go to the dr. Hope that helps.

geesh i cant believe you did that... or that its still in there...try the needle, try some tape...roll it up into a really skinny funnel and move it around inside your ear, maybe the tissue will stick to it...good luck kiddo
