I would get a mix at a shelter.
as for miss "dung raedawn" just because you want a free dog it doesn't mean you can't afford one, just that you choose not to pay for it. $2500 a year? i don't think so.

Check with Bichon rescue. You have to apply and be approved to get one but a Bichon does take money to keep up with grooming unless you know how to do that yourself. These are wonderful dogs but they aren't maintenance free.

Tell your family or friends you want one for Christmas and always say please. ^ ^

Nothing is free but if you know a Bichon Frise breeder who knows you maybe he/she will be willing to give you one free if you ask...
good luck! ^ ^

Good luck! If you find a free one, you got daggone lucky because that breed can be expensive. Check out the shelters but even there you have to pay an adoption fee.

Generally you can't. If you can't buy a dog how are you going to afford to feed it? Not to mention vet bills. Are you aware that with food and vets and stuff a dog is gonna cost you at least 2500 a year? That does not include groomers.

If you can't afford the dog, you can't afford the care. Simple as that.
