Their athiestic viewpoint could be radically different from yours. If you talked to an idealistic atheist, you'd get a much different opinion than from a cynical athiest. There are as many differing viewpoints within atheism as with anything, usually there are some smart people within a larger societal group with something that's worth hearing.
