I can jog around in my neighborhood after I come home from school. How long should I run to actually get results and when will I start seeing them? Thanks so much!

you don't have to jog, just walk it is safer for your knees and it is just as effective, tap your leg in class, take stairs instead of elevator, everything will help, and eat raisins, they are a perfect snack

Jogging is a great way to lose fat. Yes, you could injure your knees, but this usually happens when people continue to train through an injury. To lose weight , you must burn more calories than you consume. For some people this means running 2 miles a day, for others it could be 5 or more. You should build up endurance and start somewhat slow. Runner's World is a great magazine that has helpful information on healthy foods and person specific training plans. Also you might want to set a goal of training for a 5k. Being focused on the race rather than counting calories & losing weight is probably a better way to stay motivated. You will definately improve your physical appearance through your training. Good luck & make sure you have a decent pair of running shoes!

You really need to exercise three to five times per week, for at least half an hour each time. Perhaps you could start by jogging for half an hour, three times a week, and gradually increase the length of time and the frequency you are doing it. You have totally got the right attitude - the weight's going to fall off you!

Jog like one to two miles a day. And do it every day. I cant guarantee results or when they will happen, but it should work if you also eat healthy and consistently jog every day.

Well usually people that have more weight don't eat as much as skinny people so actually eat alot of fruit(and vegtables even though they are nasty), drink some milk, and a few carbohydrates once and a while from pastas and grains and youll have the perfet diet.
