You should use e-Speaking Voice and Speech Recognition Software. This software includes both text to speech as well as speech to text. It is based on the Microsoft Speech engine which may be downloaded to your computer at no cost. The "natural" sounding voices, however, are offered by NeoSpeech.com and they aren't exactly free.

e-Speaking is shareware and at $14 is pretty close to being free. Download it and give it a try for 30 days.

No. All voice recognition software needs to be trained to your voice. This is because you and I speak differently, and the computer can't assume that we are saying the same thing.

I used to test some of that software 10 years ago, it hasn't gotten much better. They all need training, and none really works all that well...

no there is no quick solution. you have just got to sit and read all that silly text.
