Why are you ashamed of your weight??! You are not that heavy! You could probably afford to lose a few pounds but you are not drastically overweight! At your age you are still growing and it is important to eat sufficiently so it is not a good idea to diet, but if you're really concerned then you should see your Doctor and he/she will advise you on the best way to do it. You need to take in more calories when you are a teenager so you mustn't start any adult diets. Also your doctor will assess whether or not you are actually overweight for your build. Remember that we are not all designed to be the same weight. You can be much heavier than others but not any fatter. It depends on your build. Please don't be ashamed or upset about your weight, I only wish I was 136lbs!!

You are only a little over weight according to the BMI ( Body Mass Index) chart. You are 13 so that is nothing. Did you know muscle weighs more than fat? Your weight is not what is important. How you feel about yourself is. I was never overweight but felt like I was fat because I didn't have the nice flat abs or skinny legs like my friends did. I never will because my body type is not like that. You need to talk with several sources to give you the truth. You can talk to a nutritionist to give you healthy food choices. Diets don't work. Changing your habits does. Simple things like eating a big breakfast but small dinner can help. Watching what you snack on. Your body needs certain things because you are growing & probably in puberty. You can buy clothes that compliment your features. Your haircut can make a huge difference in how you look. Be patient & Good Luck in your Journey.

Hmm i have a way but it all depend on you. People tend to tell u u need to eat lesser, avoid oily food so on. It correct to a point but i will give u another alternative. If u not having any exercise that day do not eat much rice as there is starch in it. Carbohydrate are useful if u want to exercise as it give u energy to burn. Do not drink too much sugar and isotonic drink as they add a lot of unwanted fats to u by the end of the day. Jogging is a way to train stamina but not helpful in losing weight. Reason: 1.U will jog at a comfortable speed but they only help u burn energy but not body fats. 2.It take a lot of mind to keep on doing until u are use to it. I recommend u do another training with mixed the running and going together. For example instead jogging for 6 round of 400m u can do 200m running follow by 2 round jogging. It allow ur heart beat to rise to the rate with u need to start burning body fats. this is 1 of the method i use. Result is ok. For 5 months. I eat as usual (sometime more) Avoid sugar and isotonic drink( i drink coke light instead) I lose around 19k It been almost a year i eat as usual and exerise less(raito 5 : 1 compare to the 5 month) so i put back around 6kg. Reason of not eating less is because it a short plan unless u decide to eat lesser for the rest of ur life. That is why do not change ur diet drasticly as it will be easy to gain back unwanted fats. If u got doubt u can email me to clarify.

I was 5'1 at 13 and still am. What you have is baby fat. Yes baby fat truly exists. You are still going through puberty. By high school it will be gone. I was your age and feeling the same way. I look back now and realize I was way to young to be worrying about my weight. But to ease you weight worry I stayed pretty slim in high school by doing sit ups twice a day in the morning and at night and walked every where I could. Please try not to stress your weight.

If you're worried, choke down tons of fruits and veggies. Drink a few cups of milk and and a couple deck of card sized portions of meat a day. Eat some whole grain cereal (just not too much). Vary the veggies!
