No and yes... parvo is passed by oral contact with infected feces. But, if you stepped in anything from the sick dog then you need to be concerned.
Your puppy may be at risk. I think your getting it vaccinated on schedule is the best thing you could have done. Place a call to the vet in the morning and fine out what they want you to do to keep your puppy as healthy as possible if it has been exposed.
Parvo has an incubation period of about 4-5 days, so your vet will want to stay on top of the situation and plan ahead if necessary to get it the best treatment.
I hope it goes well for you. The first two round of shots will provide some immunity. Try not to panic, just call the vet in the morning.

Parvo spreads like wildfire. That vet "employee" must have been a janitor, because any vet tech should know you can get parvo just from a dog touching the same ground another parvo-infected dog touched. This is why it's not reccomended that you let a young puppy walk on the ground, especially at places like Petsmart or Petco, where so many other dogs have been. Did your dog walk the same floor? Did you wash your hand in-between petting that puppy, and your own? If so, there's a chance. If your dog begins to show symptoms-vomitting, diarrhea, ETC, do not hesitate to run to the vet. Better safe than sorry. Very IRRESPONSIBLE of those owners to allow that dog on the floor, or to be touched, without warning first! Argh.

yes. if you get the infection on you, it will be easily spread.
here in vegas, about a month ago, some idiot stole a puppy with parvo from a pet store. he didn't know the pup was infected. the dog was being treated, and was given medication at the time of the abduction. she needed like 3 more doses of medication before she was cured When the idiot found out about the parvo, he just dumped the pup off into the street. someone had heard about the theft, found the dog and turned her back into the store, and the puppy got her last doses of medication and now is cured and has been adopted. a very happy ending to a sad story.

Yes, you could have exposed your pup. But, hopefully he will be okay since he is up to date on his shots. I would just keep a close eye on him, and if you see any vomiting or diarrhea take him to the vet ASAP and tell him that your pup has been exposed.
I work at a vet clinic and when I had to take care of a parvo puppy I would come home, change and launder all of my clothes, hide my shoes, and then take a shower; all to try to keep my dogs from being exposed to it.

Parvo can be spread many ways and you could have brought home the virus with you. Your puppy should have some immunity built up from his 6 and 8 week shots though. Just be sure to watch for the signs of parvo http://www.petsdoc.com/html/askthevet/askthevetquestions/parvosymptoms.html and make sure you get his next round of shots on time. If you think he's expirencing any of the symptoms, call your vet right away. The sooner they catch it, the better chance they have of being able to treat it.

The short answer to your question is 'yes'. Often this is exactly how parvo is spread.
Keep very close watch on your pup for any signs of illness. Parvo can progress very quickly. Perhaps call your vet for further advice on what specifically to look for.

Yes you could transmit parvo, except that your pup has started his shots. Check with your vet, and keep an eye on the puppy. Parvo is transmitted through the feces, all you have to do is step in some and bring it right on home. Bleach will kill it on surfaces, I think 1 part bleach to 10 parts water.
