I've never practiced it but I've added some of it's outer court tenets to my beliefs. I view Wicca as a beautiful path for those who are called to it. I respect their tight-knit groups and the loyalty they have to keeping their oaths. I like their tolerance of other faiths and the depth of their studies of their practices.

Most of the wannabe Wiccans on this site are just naive little girls--usually aged 15-21--who are looking for something that they think is cool and different and mysterious. But truth be told, Wicca is old hat. It's basically nature worship, and this has been the primary theme of both Chinese Taoism and also Native American religions for thousands of years. I suppose it's harmless enough: at least they don;t try to oppress and control people like the Catholic church and even some Protestant fundamentalist sects. And they're not war-mongers like the Muslims.

Largely started by Gerald Gardner from older traditions. Like other neo-pagan faiths, it attracts individualist seeking harmony with the earth, life, and others.

No strong opinion. They seem kind of benign, but I generally frown on religion. Also, Wicca seems curiously popular with teenagers. Not sure why.

I would take Wicca over Christianity any day.

Um..... well..... actually, I don't think a lot about Wicca. Never hear about people being persecuted by Wiccans, do you? They seem to be nice people and seem to keep to themselves. So.. that's.... good I guess.
