also i know believe in those "natural cures" sometimes it can be the case but yeah...I mean it doesn't shock me that the govt and fda r just trying to make money and legalize drugs that have really bad effects like for example ..tobbaco some years ago like everyone lied and said oh tobbaco also have some health benefits and is safe..they even had the doctor say it..it was approved by em...not to be one sided I do believe there are drugs out there that legalized to make mucho money and r not effective and bad for u (those doctors just want to take the easy way out and just experiment u)but at the same breath some drugs r neccessary to cure ...

as of 1970, all drugs have to be legalized in some way and then categorized into one of five different schedules... schedule one is the worst (like heroin). this law is still in effect and it's used to classify drugs according to abuse potential and medical use (ex: heroin has no medical use, and high abuse potential and schedule five drugs are like cough syrups that have low abuse potential and several medical uses)... there's a lot more out there about how drugs go through approval processes, that's just the stuff that I've learned lately. if you want to know more I recommend typing in "drug laws" or something like that into yahoo or google and seeing what pops up!

The FDA has to approve drugs for use in the USA

but.... if it is an "herbal" concoction there is no regulation on those herbal medicines.

The Food and Drug Administration Regulates Drugs and makes them legal for over the counter, prescription, classifying drugs as illegal and so on.
