He may be flirting. However, if he isn't crossing the line what does it hurt?? My husband and i have been married 10 years (got married at 16 so NO im not old) We both flirt from time to time but we both know it is harmless and nothing will come of it. I know when we leave the party or club that i am the one he wants... end of story. He LIKES to see me flirt and people flirt with me because he KNOWS i only want him and it gives him as ego boost to know someone wants what he has. You have to trust each other or you have much bigger problems than flirting.

maybe you call this flirting. but, really it is part of his job to an extent. he shouldn't take a phone number unless its in the line of business, that is to get another job. or if he does, and doesn't throw it away then he is going to far. if he does take it and does throw it out then he is only making good public relations for his job. it's really a feel good job so to speak, he has to make the crowd feel good, for dancing. think about it like one of the crowd, "hey that d.j. at so and so's party was good I had a great time " lets give him a call. thus more work for him. it does take a lot of professionalism to do that sort of work i.e. dealing with the public, and a maybe drunk public at that, see.
