Was the outcome what you wanted?

I've done some spellwork as needed. By "how did it work" do you mean "how did you do it" or "how was the outcome"?

ETA: Generally yes, the outcomes have been good, with one notable exception (but I've since learned there's a reason for that exception, basically it would have circumvented a lesson that had to be learned). Then again, my spells are generally few, far between, and more in line with the sorts of things a Christian would pray for (health, prosperity, getting a job, etc) than what things might come to mind when someone says "casting a spell".

My opinion - the only validity to ritual magick/spell casting is that it can put you in touch with the deeper archetypes of your own psyche. Magick is best applied to self-improvement, self-knowledge, and moral betterment. If you are after some other motive, then you are probably barking up the wrong tree. Get some books on Jungian psychology (or look up Carl Jung online) if you want to know the real purpose of spell-casting.

Personally, I don't believe in the supernatural power of magick - I think it is a distraction from true religious practice.

well not really casting spells. but i did do a seance once. and some weird stuff happend... during it the apartment went from 70 degree's to like maybe around 50. and we'd hear creeking even tho the apartment usually didnt creek. some tapping on the windows. even tho there was no wind or tree's. and it felt like a cold breeze was going tword the center of our circle and even the flames were. so were guessing we were with a angry spirit. also tapping on our sholders and our host said she felt like someone was strangling her right before we ended it.

Most times I have been happy with the results. But there have been times that I've gotten what I asked for only to find out that I really didn't want that. A few times I saw no results and have yet to figure out why. Time will tell......

Yep. But I can't explain "how it worked" here. I have several books on it.
