You should really get a hobby other than trying to pick fights with Christians on the Yahoo Answer Boards. I think someone is a tad bit narcissistic. Maybe you are trying to fill a void, possibly the one left by your rejection of belief.

Yes, you have a choice. Yes there is only one right one. Yes it is through the belief in Jesus that you AVOID hell.

I hate answering something so important in such a way. But, basically you got it in a nut shell. It is of course far more complicated and still in some ways not.

Abraham believed in God and God "credited it to him as righteousness" Notice Abraham was not righteous he merely believed. But, with that simple belief he had to strike out on his own and go into a land he knew not. He also had to risk the lives of all his house hold.

If you focus on the negative and the horror of hell you miss the whole gospel story. God came to earth as Jesus to pay the very price he demands for disobedience! Now you cannot get a better deal than that. It would be like a judge handing down a sentence then paying for it himself.

God wishes for us to have life and more abundantly. Choose whom you will serve today (Because you will) As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Yes you do have a choice. You can either choose God or satan. Jesus is the only choice that will give you peace now or in the hereafter. You are correct that if you don't choose Jesus, you will spend an eternity in hell. It is not blind faith when He has given you His Word(the Bible) so that we can know who He is. May God Bless

Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the whole world and that includes you. He rose from the grave so that you could have eternal life in Heaven. All you have to do is believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved from Hell!
If that is blind faith, I will take it.

Oh, you have a choice, all right; we all do. Will you make the right one, is the eternal question? Might I remind you that you are EQUALLY offered eternity in heaven, btw...

And, yes, Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. No one else died for the sins of mankind.

Well, God created you with the ability (free will) to accept him or reject him. God did not create us as robots or drones with no choice as to whom we worship.

He does tell us the results of our choice before we make it and that is where you get Heaven and Hell.

You do this on a small scale with your own children. You warn them ahead of time about the results of certain actions. You tell them not to get into a car with a stranger offering them candy and tell them what will happen if they do.

Now, as to the blind faith part of your question. If no one has ever told you that you cannot believe in God and Jesus Christ on your own, you need to read the bible for this information.

The fact is that you cannot believe on your own and under your own power. God gives us many opportunities to believe in him, he even created you with a bit (modicum) of faith. When these moments come, you either believe or you shove the knowledge further away. In the book of Romans right in the first chapter, it is described how and when God gives you over to your own thoughts and desires and your depraved heart.

Once this happens, it means that you have fully rejected God in your heart and not just with your words. After this you will no longer be able to accept God, for you have fully rejected him and he has given you your hearts desire (rejecting him)

so let me get this straight. You're on a roll. Seek and ye shall find. For God so loved "Billions and Billions" that He gave His only Son that "Billions and Billions" could believe in Him and have eternal life. Jesus said "no man, even "Billions", comes to the Father but by Me.

You do have a choice, you choose what ever you want. You choose what to eat when to sleep what to say and how to say it.

But as you know, and I'm sure your old enough to know this every action has consequences to it. Be it good or bad. So yeah you have a choice. So sir what will your choice be? God Bless. Love. Amen.

Yes and no. You have a choice. You can choose to worship a false god, that is called idolatry, and that will land you in Hell.
Choice #2, worship no god, in which case when you die, your sins take you to Hell.
Choice#3 Worship the true and living God. This is where the choices stop. If you want to worship the true God, you must do so on His terms. That means repentance, and faith in Christ.

Does someone have to bang you in the head to get though to you? That's pretty much the Christian case in the proverbial nutshell. Jesus or Hell. I don't get it either but that's what they keep telling me.

you are a troll aren't you?
If you really want to know, I'll tell you. But if you're just trying to start a fight... sigh.

If you worship a chair or a rock or some god that isn't real- well, yeah. It's not going to do you any good.
