Protein supplements help build muscles when you are exercising intensely *** well. Usually getting a six pack would be a two-fold problem: losing stomache fat, and building lean muscle tissue. It sounds as though all you need to do is build muscle mass though. There are many, many exercises you can do for your abs. There are tons of variations on the simple sit up of course. You can do these on an excersise ball, cross over to the left and right, do curls (dont lift your lower back off the ground, just curl your shoulders up). You can also do six-inches (lay down flat and raise your feet six inches off the ground, hold as long as you can) reverse crunches, excersise machines at gyms, etc. You need to keep variating what movements you are doing too, your body will become used to a certain movement and it will become less effective. Basically it takes a lot of work (or everyone would have great abs) but is a goal you can achieve if you keep working at it.
oh.....search youtube, limewire, google vids, etc for video workouts you can do each day. these help too

Eat only 1200 calories per day, divided into 4 or 5 small meals. Do 30 minutes worth of sit-ups in the morning and 30 minutes at night. Walk or run at least 3 miles a day at least 4 days a week.
Above all, keep focused on your goal.
It will happen for you. Best of luck!

Do 50 sit ups to the front..
put your left hand on the back of your head and your right arm straight out and parallel next to the outside of your right leg ..legs should be shoulder length apart on the floor. Make sure that you lift your shoulders off of the floor. each time.
These are CRUNCHES. When you reach 25, switch arms.
Then rest for 3o seconds.
Next thing to do is put your legs down as if you are laying flat on the ground. Repeat same arm procedure as above, changing at 25.
Then rest for 3o seconds.
Put your legs up in the air (bent or straight) and repeat arm movements as before. Do 50.
Rest for 3o seonds.
After this do the bicycle--where you lay on the floor and put your legs up to your chest. Then place both hands on the back of your head and kick one leg out while the other one stays in. Do 25 of these.
Attempt to do these as much as possible, or at least once a week. It should get progressively easier. You will be in a little bit of pain afterwards, but its fine.
Good luck!
--i do this every week and it works!

Probably the best way to get a six pack with the best excersize progams and safest workouts is using a personal trainer at a gym. Building muscles also requires turning fat into muscles so if you're lean it might be harder to gain muscles in that area. Plus in that short period of time it might be hard without a trainer.
