More specifically, I want to see, in writing, about public display of affection, and whether or not you are allowed to hold a baby while in dress whites.

considering the hundreds and thousands of pictures taken on the piers when new fathers come home of them holding their children, I think it is safe to say they may do so.. within reason.

BUT.. they must still be able to salute their superiors, no spit rags on the shoulder, no drool on the uniform.

as for other PDAs: chaste pecks on the cheek are fine.. no tongues. hands holding is iffy..as again, they must be able to salute immediately.

Yes you are aloud. I don't even think that is a reg. Think about this....Will anyone stop you? I see people doing it when they get off the boat. I don't think it should be any different walking in the street? I wouldnt want a baby throwing up on my whites though.

I'm pretty sure that you can hold a baby. Here's a link to the uniform regs.
