Yet another person equating Santa Claus and God.
This is tiresome, but I feel compelled to ask... even if you were right, what would you recommend people cope with?
Go to the heart of Africa sometime and tell someone dying of starvation or trapped in a civil war or suffering from AIDS or unfairly imprisoned that the faith in God and hope of eternal salvation they cling to is nothing but an illusion from a "sick" mind (your word). And then explain to them that all that waits for them and their families on the other side of a painful horrifying death is oblivion.
Then come back here and tell us how you did; I can't wait to hear it.

I don't try to convert anyone and I accept their faith as theirs, but I do try to convience people that religion is a myth. I feel I have the same obligation to save them as they do me, and it is about time atheist go about converting christians and muslims as they do us.
Christians and muslims are in a state of confusion and it is our obligations as fellow humans ot save them form their mythical callins.

For starters, quit posting on the religion and spirituality section. That should do it.

If you don't like it, ignore it. You're fighting fire with fire and that's not going to accomplish anything :-)
