Actually, if you think the truth will get you in trouble then try not to say anything. Also it is possible to answer a question with a truth if you really think about how you word it. Also if you get in trouble when you say the truth maybe you are doing something you shouldn't or you are talking with someone who distorts, is jealous or is not completely there for you. If a person really cares about you they can hear your truths and still care about you.

Telling the truth doesn't always get you in trouble. At first there might be anger and disappointment when you are honest about something you have done but that usually passes and you are forgiving for your mistake. I think what gets you in trouble is when you lie about it first and then you are caught in your lie. Just be honest in the first place, that way at least people know you will own up to your mistakes and they will trust you more knowing you are not a liar too.

Because if you don't tell the truth you also get in trouble, so if you atleast tell the truth you aren't in as deep of $h!t as you would normally be in if you lied.

If you tell the truth and you get in trouble do you deserve to get in trouble? Sometimes it's better to get the truth out and be in trouble then lie and dig your hole deeper.
