So I like this girl in my German class. We sit next to each other and always have a good time. So coming up is a dance sponsored by the school, and I decide to ask her. Takes a little to work up the nerve to, and I end up bringing up the subject of the dance, she says she didn't know if she was going to go, and I proceed to say something like "Well, would you like to go with me?" she looked a little surprised, but said "maybe, if I do go." Then I ask for her phone number and get it, then she had to leave (I did it after school). That was 2 days ago, however since the power went out on Thursday, been out since then and will be cause our power lines are snapped, there has been no school so I haven't been able to talk to her, including calling, the phone lines are also down where we live. What does this mean, "maybe", is it a good sign or a bad sign? (I guess I'm just paranoid.) I have had no contact with any of my friends cause my luck is awesome, cellphone is dead and slowly charging.

It doesn't sound like she's all that enthusiastic about going at all.
