I think that you should come to Australia!! We have plenty of work, a laid back attitude and we are friendly. Please ignore any ignorant and mean comments that other people have made!
If you decide to move to Australia, please think of all the smaller towns outside of capital cities that would love to have more people living and working there!

Canada, no doubt. Canada Rocks!!!! In fact, if you can afford, financially and time wise, visit both countries and spend some time there. But visiting and living in a place is entirely different. Canada is definitely cold, don't know much about Austrailia. Employment is alright in Canada, Housing costs are very high, Standard of Living is pretty alright too.

The only reason I'd choose Canada over Australia is because of the fact that the seasons are all turned around "down under." If you can get used to snow in June and July and Summer conditions in the Winter, I'd go to Australia. Otherwise, I'd definitely take Canada. And, it is a bit more like the US. Not to mention, its cheaper to move there!

If you are talking about "legal" immigration, Canada is a great country to immigrate to. I immigrated here from the USA 40 years ago and I still live here. However, Canada is NOT tolerant of illegal immigration.
