It would appear that that is what happened at the time, and from the verses in 2 Peter 2:4-5, and Jude verse 6, God wiped out the hybrid race in the flood (Genesis 6), and bound the demonic/angelic beings that transgressed the boundaries to prevent it from happening again (2 Pet. 2, Jude 6).

The theological explanation is that mortal men were used (possessed) by those fallen angels and had sex with women.

Cases of demonic possession with manifestations of lustful acts among others, have been well documented throughout the centuries. The New Testament records that about half of the sick Jesus healed have been demon-possessed. The Bible was clear on its doctrine about the evil nature, including fleshly lusts, of these spirits.

It is true that angels left their rightful place in heaven and came down to earth taking wives for themselves any whom they chose even if any refused they just took them, these were the angels that satan got to rebell against God they took on fleshly bodies and therefore were able to reproduce, so, they had ofspring, these who were the ofspring, were called the Nephilim, and that was just before the Flood and these wicked Nephilim were destroyed in the flood but the angels were not, because they disgarded their fleshly bodies and became spirits again so went back to heaven and they saved their life that way, but they cannot do that any more because they cannot materialise any more, that ability, was taken from them! Nor, can they have sex with humans any more

Yes, those "Sons of God" who were also called the Watchers [of Man] became the Fallen Angels... or the Devils/Satan.

And their offsprings with the Human wives grew up to become Giants that roamed the land and they were mighty and strong men.

Have you read the Book of Enoch? It's a good read.

Peace be with you.

Contradiction. Angels do not have a gender, therefore no sex.

This refers to Good man. Sons of God are people who follow the commandments of God and they are allowed to have as many wives as they want in the bible.

The so call 'sons of God' were descendents of Seth, and the 'daughters of men' were the descendents of Cain.

No. If angels could take on human form, then how could Jesus have proved his identity to the apostles by assuring them of his physicality?

The 'sons of God' were descendents of Seth, and the 'daughters of men' were the descendents of Cain.

That would appear to be the case.

Jud 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

2Pe 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast [them] down to hell, and delivered [them] into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

As you can see there's any number of interpretations about who these sons of god are....Brothers of Jesus, giants, angels, demons, space aliens or just ordinary guys. All these have all been suggested. Depends who you ask. Your guess is probably as good as any. My guess is that it doesn't work to take the bible literally.

Yes they did and the result was a hybrid generation that were called Nephillum and they were extremely violent. This influenced so many other people that the entire generation with the exception of Noah, his wife, his sons and their wives had to die.

There were lots of women here, but not with a soul or spirit, made in the image of god. Man like creatures were here long
before Adam.
