We did a cookie bake party and I had everyone email me the cookie recipes before the party. Then I took and cut and pasted the recipes into Microsoft Word and had them print four on a page where it could be folded. Took these down and cut them and had them laminated, whole punched on the top left hand corner and placed a metal ring through them. It made great gifts for everyone and they all use the recipe books. You might try doing this with your recipes. It cost like 15 to 25 cents a page to laminate.

I use WORD.

~I have a folder called Recipes.
~That is sub-divided into categories like Appetizers, Beverages, Entrees, Desserts, Soups, Salads, Slow Cooker, etc.
~Big ones like Desserts are further sub-divided into Cakes, Cookies, Pies.... Then under cakes, I have a special folder for Icings/Frostings. Just sub-divide where it makes sense to you.
~Entrees are sub-divided into Chicken, Pork, Beef, Seafood, Meatless, Entree Casseroles, and so on.
~If you are low-carbing or low-fat dieting, you can always create a special folder just for those recipes.
~Some recipes get logged into 2 folders: say a Slow Cooker Beef Roast recipe is in both Beef (under Entrees) and Slow-Cooker folders.

The benefit of using Word is that you can include a photo (if you snag one form a website) and you can search by title keyword. I find it much easier than spending $$ on MasterCook or these other programs.

You can set your word processor paper size to note card (small, large, or folded). Then print on that size...
