It seams he could have at least used Gold or Silver maybe diamonds to put a spark in our eyes. I can't believe I was made out of dirt. He could have made us out of snow. At least that would have been better than dirt wouldn't it?

You have asked the exact same type question that the Roman soldier with leprosy asked. Why should I dip seven times in the waters of the muddy Jordan when there are much better rivers near my home. He was about to go away a leper when his servant said basically, "Hey. Why don't you just submit to what God wants and just do it? When the soldier accepted God's authority and submitted to it by dipping seven times in the Jordan his leprosy was healed.

So, it really doesn't matter why he chose dirt. It may not make sense to you just like the soldier. But we don't have to understand WHY God does the things He does. We just have to have faith that He is all knowing and that He is always right.

Some translations say clay. But yes I wonder that sometimes. I suppose He saw how Satan was created a beautiful and bejeweled instrument and saw how Satan became filled with pride. Perhaps God wanted to show man that humility is important. That if we get too haughty in our heart that we can look and see that we originally came from the dust and to the dust we go when we die. Humbling.

Well, our bodies are mostly water, which is melted snow, and the solid parts have a lot of carbon, which is what diamonds are made of.

All those things you mentioned are dug out of the earth, so maybe it's not so bad. I'm fairly blessed, I cannot complain.

Our body is just flesh and it is decaying. Made to live on earth. We will recieve new bodies in heaven made for eternal heaven. We are humble in these bodies that are perishing. Our heart is being refined like gold as heavenly treasure. God has given us a wonderful body made from the elements found on earth. Be happy you are alive in an able body that allows you to touch, communicate and love others.

Because snake and snails were in short supply and as dogs were created the previous day, there were no puppy dogs to provide tails.

He knew better than to make Man from the yellow snow.

He didnt make man from dirt. Those old testament bible stories were written to help the less educated people of 5000 years ago to understand God and creation. You need to take the meaning of the story from it.

Well when you die and decompose dirt ye shall be. So I think dirt is fitting. Besides God gave you life, be happy.
