If Satan is so wise and powerful then why does he live out what has been prophosyed about him?

Because only Jehovah God knows the beginning to the end, and this is better understood in the conversation where Satan accused Job's integrity in Job 2:4-6 where Jehovah allowed Satan to tempt Job to the limit, but without killing him, Satan did not challenge Jehovah on this term, because he knows he has no power on God.

Satan does know what's coming for him but since he can't do anything about it, he (being so evil and wicked) wants to take as many people with him as he can. He didn't change God's original purpose, but because he rebelled and caused humans to rebel, God has changed the way he will accomplish his purpose. But eventually everything that Satan has done will be completely erased and God's first plan (humans in a paradise Earth without death or suffering) will be accomplished.
