JJ Bitting Brewing Co. on Main Street in Woodbridge (right near the train station). They have a nice restaurant and an excellent selection of beers which they brew themselves. They boast that they are the #2 best brew pub in the USA (don't know if this is true or not). I can tell you that it is very good and I think you would like it. Definately check it out if you're in the area.

Here in South Jersey, there is Tun Tavern in Atlantic City. Their brews are better than Budweiser, but not as good as other brew pubs.

I like Triumph in Princeton. I think there is one in New Brunswick too
