If you are really serious to impress the guy you like , then you have to do some homework and research on his likes and dislikes and then go along accordingly.

*act like who u think he wud like u t oact around him, dont worry this is just to get his attention and u can always act urself after a while
*find out his fave colour and wear it alot
*start playing a sport that he plays, even if u r no good its a good chance for u to ask him for help
*find out what stuff he is onto and say something smart about it really loudly in front of him

Just be URSELF....let him love the real you and dont get all freaky when ur near him and also try to know more abt him but dont lose urself trying to impress him
