Is it wise to worship a murderer?

Hmmm, let's see here....nope, nothing bout it in that book! {*toss*} Nope, nope...that was "Atheists" right? Nope, aha, Here' we go....oh dear, this one says that GOD created a flood which wiped out every living thing on the earth except for the few folks and animals He chose to save!!! Can that be??? What's the name of this book!!! {*flip to cover*} Ohhhh, I say...it says here it's the BIBLE. Now, how odd is that!
Sorry...{*shaking head sadly, sympathizing*}, what was that again about worshiping a murderer? I still can't get over that...and I was so certain you'd be right!

Perhaps you don't know what the meaning of Atheism is. Atheists do not believe in the existence of a God or higher power. So to ask a question about an Atheist worshipping a God is ridiculous. That's kind of made impossible by the whole NOT BELIEVING IN ANY GOD thing. To your other question, of course it's not wise to worship a murderer, and Atheists certainly don't.

1) An atheist is someone who lacks a belief in a god or gods.
2) The "typical" way of viewing an atheist is someone who denies ALL the gods ever created.
3) Another way of looking at the word atheist is that EVERYONE is an atheist to some god: Thor, Zeus, Aphrodite, etc.
4) So, in regards to #3, yes there are some atheists who worship a murderous god: CHRISTIANS for example.
5) In regards to #2... NO. "Typical" atheists worship NO GOD.
Christians are atheists to every god BUT their own (they are monotheists). They still worship that ONE god... who just happens to be murderous (hint kids... you find that out by reading the Bible... full of murder in there y'know).
Now... is that wise? Well, look at all the damage caused by Christianity and other religions with murderous gods and then get back to me.
"Typical" atheists just go one god further.

What grade are you in?
Atheists don't worship. period. Atheists don't believe in ANY GODS, or any supernatural beings. They don't worship anything, people, places, things. Nothing. Nada.
Does that explain it for you?

No atheist do not worship any gods. Yes it is unwise to worship gods such as god, jesus, mohammad, ect. they are criminals, each and everyone of them even as much a criminal as stalin or hitler .
