You can't exactly point to god or see him working. Something like Evolution doesn't need the work of a deity. Natural Selection can do that for you, given enough time. The laws of nature that were established after the big bang allows life to evolve in this universe. But even that doesn't speak of a creator, this universe could be one in a infinite amount of universes. If the universe has always been around, what can god do? Or he is just a human god?

But something can POP out of this universe and into this one. When anti-matter, outside of our universe, collides with our universe, matter POPS into our universe.

If the universe is "infintily old" how can it have a beginning? It was never created, it was always around?

The Big Bang is the biggest refutation of Natural Selection possible. You just admitted that the laws of nature were established AFTER the Big Bang, so how could the Big Bang possibly be initiated without any work of nature?

You should read Age of Reason. Thomas Paine believed that you can't find God in any Bible, but you can find him soley in how precise nature it build and the wonders of nature. So even the biggest critics of the Bible affirmed that God revealed himself most clearly through nature.

Lastly, the idea that another universe caused the Big Bang in our own answers nothing, because then you would still need to explain how all those other infinite universes were created, and ultimately you would have to explain everything back to infinity which isn't possible. You see, eternity cannot exist in a material universe, because if the universe (or infinite number of universes) were eternal you would never be able to advance in days, you would always be stuck back infinite years ago. Thus you must have a temporal universe with a definite beginning, but in order to have a beginning you must have a cause, and only a non-physical, boundless, infinite being that created time and matter could initiate everything.

For example, you can't simply say matter and time began when a universe popped out of nowhere, because you would need something that caused it, which would mean that it wouldn't really be the beginning of matter and time. But if you have a being that was timeless and not created by physical materials, then you could have a universe "pop" out of nowhere.

The Big Bang, which is definitely a "pop", works to the side of the theist and against anyone who advocates naturalistic evolution.

The 'evidence of God' can be seen from creation forward. I mean, can youhonestly look around at the wonders of the universe and the equally wonderous life you find under a microscope and how they mirror each other, and then convince yourself it happened because of a 'big bang'? The signs of a loving creator can be clearly seen in the design of our bodies ; the wonder of our eyes, our hearing , our sense of smell . . . .
Natural Selection is a big of a joke as the theory of evolution. If Natural Selection were a process that actually happened, why do we still have so many idiots in the world , uh, in CHARGE?? Please.

God created us all with free will. Its just that most human beings choose to use that free will and exclude him from their lives because they feel that they are solely capable of running their lives by themselves, until they get into some kind of trouble and it is usually THEN that they cry out and look for a loving god to help them. If they were semi smart, they would look for this loving god and make him their friend from the start, keep him close to their heart, find out what he wants from them and do it, not out of obligation, but out of love and a desire to make him happy. Why wait til you NEEEEED a friend to call on someone?
Personally, I prefer to keep him in my life all along and have him as my friend and confidant, then to just wait til I need him. Its much more pleasing this way, more rewarding spiritually.

so you say, but I don't agree with you. I see God at work in the world and it is very clear to me. If I pointed it out, you non-believers would just dismiss it as something else and explain it away, like you do with creation.

You have NO PROOF that evolution is absolutely the way we came to exist! Atheist have been challenged for a long time to PROVE it and you can't because it is impossible to prove something when it never happened.

You need millions of years to explain why we CANNOT SEE EVOLUTION, If you could prove it, you wouldn't need millions of years. You also claim that anyone who existed before our records of history, were not intelligent enough to write it down, that is why we have no records of this time that you claim existed. So there you have it, took millions of years and men back then were too ignorant to some how communicate the date and time and important events that took place, like when the ear was added to the body, or when the giraffe grew that special valve in his neck to keep the blood from hitting his brain and killing him when he bent down for a drink of water.

Face it, your religion which is evolutionism is flawed all over the place and it is ONLY by FAITH that you continue to proclaim it as truth.

I'm sorry you don't see it , but god is everywhere , when a baby is born and his / her mother first sees the baby they know god made it all possible . When you see a young man walk an old lady across the street without being told , that's god at work . When a man goes from poverty to being a millionaire in the work force that's god at work for you .When you look into the mirror tonight look hard because God made you in the same form as Jesus Christ .I'm still sorry you don't see God , but tonight thank God that he gave you a brain to question everything in life other wise you would be just another fool walking this earth. Goodnight, and I prey God to bless you and your entire family this Christmas and everyday of your Christian life Amen,Amen.

God is not human. You are the pot and He is the potter, you cant understand everything He does. He is God and most of the world rejects Him. They have been given enough proof to believe. We are blessed when we have faith. Without Jesus you are in the darkness. Romans 1:20-21 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

well, the problem w/ the big bang theory is that it doesnt explain what was before the "big bang" ...according to science, matter cannot be created or distroyed, it can only shift in forms (water doesnt disappear, it evaporates). so if there was a big bang, then what was before then, N where did it come from? ...science can NOT give you anymore answers than what religion does.

as like sumone already stated, we cant see the wind, but we CAN see its affects on our surroundings. i too believe that it isnt insane to think that god is behind evolution n science in general (its kind of hard to deny, since we are constanly makin new advances in science)...n who's to say that science isnt a miracle? god is the creator of all things, animals, dinasours, plants, n us Humans.

"I believe in God, just as I believe the sun rises in the east n sets in the west, NOT because i see it, but because through it i see everything else."

Human god? Listen Joy, laughter, anger, Love: all of that is emotions a complex and sometimes confusing thing to have emotions, thoughts and ideas were not created by the Big Bang.

It was created by someone who Loves us and will continue doing so. Can you truly stand here and tell me emotions were created by evolution or some huge mistake.

Do you truly believe passion Passion! itself was a mistake? Passion for art, music, singing, dancing and passion for love. Do truly believe something like that could die and just disappear.

Memories of love ones and dreams. Come on! Don't be afraid to dare to believe, you have that right take it with conviction, take it like it's yours because Love it is. God Bless. Love. Amen. (Look closer to the details of a leaf the patterns and lines, a delicate and perfect creation a drawing)

i agree w/ Perez :)

its even harder to believe that we are all here by accident, by just a random point in time, than by what religion explains.

even scientists say that everything has a reason (the horns on a rhyno, the tusk on the elephant, the fingers on our hands), so what is the reason for the big band n evolution???

without god, there is nothing, too bad many others cant see what is right infront of their eyes.

by saying that there are "infinite universes" is denying god, you have no proof> for me, Life is way to complex to come about by "natural selection" or what not> I mean, how can molecules come together and form life? It is like saying that a computer can build itself given "millions of years" who knows, maybe god guided evolutioN>

It's the ultimate reality issue.
The Bible speaks to man's spirit.
The world speaks to man's flesh.

"Spiritual" people can blend the two and see God's hand everywhere.
